British Oat Apple Crumble

Britischer Hafer-Apple-Crumble

Apple Crumble Preparation Oatmeal

When a thick layer of crunchy oat crumble meets baked apple slices, it's time for crumble. The dish is prepared as if by magic and is perfect as a sweet ending to your Easter brunch. 3Bears Porridge Cinnamon Apple gives the oven-warm crumble a magical aromatic note. And if there's anything left after Easter brunch: warmed up quickly in the oven, it's also delicious later in the day with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or vanilla sauce.

Preparation

  1. Heat the oven to 180 degrees fan.
  2. Wash, peel and core the apples. Then you can cut them into small pieces
  3. Pour the juice of half a lemon over the apples to prevent the apples from turning unsightly brown.
  4. Mix the vanilla sugar and 50g sugar into the apples.
  5. Put everything in a large, shallow baking dish or several small, fireproof bowls.
  6. Using the dough hook of the mixer, process room temperature butter, flour, hazelnuts and 3Bears Porridge into crumbles and sprinkle them over the apples.
  7. Spread the grated zest of a lemon over the crumble and bake for 20 to 30 minutes in the oven.
  8. Remove and enjoy while warm with vanilla ice cream, vanilla sauce, powdered sugar or sprinkled rosemary as desired.

As an Easter treat, sugar was used as an exception in this recipe. However, all of our porridge varieties contain no added sugar. You can find even more porridge inspiration in our article 11 recipe ideas without added sugar .
