At 33 degrees in the shade, the bears sweat a lot! That's why we're very grateful to our friends at Luicella's Ice Cream for this refreshing summer recipe - a classic ice cream sandwich with oat cookies from our 3Bears Porridge Kernigen Classic , prepared in a flash and easily. Luicella's Ice Cream and 3Bears Porridge are chemical-free - we don't use any flavours or colourings in this recipe (not even in the ice cream). This is 100% natural summer enjoyment. Those of you with a sweet tooth will love it!
Ingredients
30 minutes (excluding cooling time) | 5 ice cream sandwiches
- 125g 3Bears Porridge A hearty classic
- 110g butter
- 150g brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 pack of vanilla powder
- 120g flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup of Luicella's Ice Cream
Preparation
- In a bowl, beat the butter, sugar, vanilla, salt and cinnamon with a hand mixer until fluffy and gradually add the egg.
- Mix the flour and baking soda in a second bowl and stir it into the butter-sugar mixture.
- Mix in the 3Bears Porridge Crunchy Classic.
- Chill the dough for at least an hour.
- Preheat the oven to 190°C.
- Roll the dough into 10 walnut-sized balls, place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper and press them slightly flat.
- Bake the cookies for about 8-10 minutes and let them cool on the baking sheet.
- Cut the cup of your favourite Luicella's Ice Cream flavour into 5 finger-wide slices and make your own ice cream sandwich.
