Vegan Porridge with Baked Pear and Walnuts

Clean eating is so easy with Porridge Power. Especially with this vegan bowl with baked pear slices and walnuts. Plus, nothing beats the sweet smell that wafts through the apartment when pears etc. are baking. The baked fruit has a super intense taste and goes perfectly with our Wild Bowls – Nutty Cocoa Porridge. You can also prepare the pear slices in advance. They will keep in the fridge for a few days.

Vegan porridge with pear

Ingredients

50g Wild Bowls - Nutty Cocoa
150ml plant drink
1 pear
1 splash of lemon juice
Pinch of cinnamon
20g walnuts

 

preparation

Cut the pear into thick slices. Now place in an ovenproof dish and brush with 2 tablespoons of hot water and a little lemon juice. Now dust the pear slices with cinnamon and bake in a hot oven at 180 degrees for about 25 minutes or until they are slightly dry. In the meantime, put the Wild Bowls - Nutty Cocoa Porridge together with the plant drink in a pot and bring to the boil, stirring constantly, until the porridge has a creamy consistency. Remove the pot from the heat and let it steep for about 1 minute. Now pour the porridge into a bowl and spread it out. Roast the walnuts in a pan without fat. Now garnish the porridge with the walnuts and pear slices.
